Hydra is an open-source game launcher. We’re a small team building the launcher and the services behind it.

Everyone works flexible hours on Brazilian time (Brasília, UTC−3), and we pay for your Claude Code subscription.

Engineering · Junior

You’ll build and run Hydra’s API and the services around it: catalogue sync, achievements, reviews, profiles and subscriptions.

Build and maintain endpoints in our NestJS API, backed by PostgreSQL and Prisma.
Write the jobs and AWS Lambda functions that keep the game catalogue in sync with Steam, Epic and LaunchBox.
Keep responses fast with Redis caching and Elasticsearch search.
Watch production: errors in Sentry, logs in OpenObserve, Prometheus metrics and New Relic. Find what breaks and fix it.
Write tests with Vitest and review your teammates’ pull requests.

Good knowledge of TypeScript and Node.js.
Experience with PostgreSQL and Prisma: modeling tables, writing migrations and queries.
Experience using Redis for caching or queues.
You understand how HTTP APIs work: status codes, authentication, pagination.

Experience with Go.
Experience with Elasticsearch.
Observability: you’ve set up logs, metrics or alerts with tools like Sentry, OpenObserve or Prometheus.
Experience with AWS (Lambda, S3) or Cloudflare Workers.
Experience with ClickHouse or other analytics databases.
You use AI coding tools like Claude Code in your daily work.

Marketing · Internship

You’ll be Hydra’s voice on social media. You’ll run our X account, grow our TikTok and Instagram, and talk with players wherever they mention us.

Run Hydra’s X account: post updates and release news, join conversations and reply to players.
Plan and create posts, short videos and memes for TikTok and Instagram.
Keep a content calendar and publish on schedule.
Manage the budget for boosted posts: choose what to promote, set up each boost and report what it brought back.
Answer comments, mentions and messages on every channel, and pass bugs and feedback on to the team.
Follow trends, creators and gaming communities, and use each platform’s analytics to learn what works.

You use X, TikTok and Instagram every day and know what works on each one.
You play games on PC and know gaming culture and memes.
You write well and quickly in Portuguese and English.
Basic image and video editing with tools like CapCut, Canva or Figma.
You’re organized and can keep a posting schedule on your own.
You’re enrolled in a university or technical program, as Brazilian internship law requires.

Experience running paid posts or ads on X, Instagram or TikTok.
Experience moderating a community on Discord, Reddit or similar.
Experience with scheduling and analytics tools like Hootsuite or Sprout Social.
You already use Hydra.
